How do I transfer my exisiting data to Squeegee?
FAQ's
Whether you're currently using a paper-based system, spreadsheets or another software platform, Squeegee offers a range of import options to help you move your data across smoothly.
We have automated import processes for importing data from Cleaner Planner; George; Aworka; or Smart Round which would not incur a charge for us to import for you if you can supply the required files. Please let us know if you are using one of these systems and we can provide the steps to extract your data in the format needed for us to import into Squeegee.
If you are not using one of these software providers you can manually import your data using the .CSV import template available in Squeegee under Settings > Data menu. Leave the header column names unchanged and please note the required data format for each column shown in row 2 when adding your data. If the header column names are adjusted or data format is not as shown, the import process will reject the file. Each row of data to be imported requires the first two cells (customer name and customer address) to have data entered as a minimum, if either are unavailable enter UNKNOWN or similar to easily identify and update missing data in future. You can find a tutorial for this process here.
We do offer import of data as a service for data stored in spreadsheet or .CSV format, this service is chargeable at the Squeegee Professional Services rate of £100 + VAT per hour, minimum time charged of 1 hour. To receive a free quote please forward your spreadsheet or CSV data file to our support desk (support@squeeg.ee) requesting an import quotation.
If your data is held in another format we can also assess and advise if it can be imported from its current location, please email our support desk (support@squeeg.ee) with system name, storage format and an estimate of the number of records and a member of the team will be in touch.
