By accessing our Website and using the Squeegee mobile apps on devices, you consent to the terms of this policy and agree to be bound by it and our Terms and Conditions.

What kinds of information do we collect? When becoming a user of Squeegee, the service involves the storage of data about a company or individual. This data can include personal information:

Basic personal information Squeegee collects your contact information, such as your name and email address and country to authenticate your account and keep it. We may also collect personal information such as phone number, location, taxation details and accounting and financial information directly from you when you use the service. It is your choice what personal information you give us, but if you don’t supply some required information, we may not be able to provide you with the service.

Log Data When you access the service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics ("Log Data"). This is in order to improve service and for troubleshooting to provide support within the service. It is used as part of aggregated data.

Payment information Squeegee doesn’t store any payment information. It is held with our payment provider and can not be accessed by Squeegee staff.

Location information Because of the location based services within Squeegee, on devices using the Squeegee app, we record your location. Without this, some of the services can not and will not work. Squeegee gives you the choice to enable or disable use of location.

We do not respond to or honour “Do Not Track” requests at this time.

Cookies

Necessary Cookies These are Cookies that are required for the operation of our website. They are necessary for the safety, security and integrity of the site. For example they help support the structure of the pages that are displayed to you, help to improve navigation and allow you to return to pages you have previously visited

Performance Cookies or analytical Cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our website when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily. The data is aggregated and anonymised, which means we cannot identify you as an individual.

Functionality Cookies These are used to recognise you when you return to our website. This enables us to personalise our content for you, greet you by name and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region). Google reCAPTCHA

Based on our legitimate interest in the prevention of spam and abuse and security, we use the reCAPTCHA feature from Google. This feature is primarily used to distinguish whether an input is made by a real person or abuse by an automated process. As a user of Squeegee, you will also collect information from others, which is stored on your account. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are authorised to disclose that information to us. This means that you must take reasonable steps to ensure the individual concerned is aware of and/or consents to the various matters detailed in this Policy, including:

the fact that their personal information is being collected, the purposes for which that information is being collected, the intended recipients of that information, the individual's right to obtain access to that information, Squeegee’s identity, and how to contact us. This will shortly be made very easy for you, with the customer portal that will be released soon. Where requested to do so by us, You must also assist Squeegee with any requests by the individual to access or update the personal information you have collected from them and entered into the service.

Why do we collect, hold and use your personal information? Squeegee collects your personal information so that we can provide you with the service and any related services you may request. In doing so, Squeegee may use the personal information we have collected from you for purposes related to the services including to:

verify your identity, administer the service, notify you of new or changed services offered in relation to the service, carry out marketing or training relating to the service, assist with the resolution of technical support issues or other issues relating to the service, comply with laws and regulations in applicable jurisdictions, and communicate with you. By using Squeegee, you consent to your personal information being collected, held and used in this way and for any other use you authorise. Squeegee will only use your personal information for the purposes described in this policy or with your express permission. It is your responsibility to keep your password to the service safe. You should notify us as soon as possible if you become aware of any misuse of your password, and immediately change your password within the service or via the ‘Forgotten Password’ process.

Children and Young People

Squeegee is not intended for use by children, nor should it contain any data about anyone under the age of 13. If data is collected about a child by a user of the service unknowingly and we are made aware, all data would be immediately deleted from the system.

Squeegee can aggregate your non-personally identifiable data By agreeing to this policy and the terms of use, you agree that Squeegee can access, aggregate and use non-personally identifiable data Squeegee has collected from you. This data will in no way identify you or any other individual. Squeegee may use this aggregated non-personally identifiable data to:

assist us to better understand how our customers are using the service, provide our customers with further information regarding the uses and benefits of the service, enhance small business productivity, including by creating useful business insights from that aggregated data and allowing you to benchmark your business’ performance against that aggregated data, and otherwise to improve the Service.

Where is my personal information stored and transferred? Squeegee servers are based in London, UK. and provide top level security.

This includes:

24/7 physical security guard services, generator or fuel carrier redundancy and access to the management network only through multi-factor authentication points with key-based authentication limited by role-based access control. Data is transferred using Transport Layer Security. (TLS) is a protocol which provides privacy between communicating applications and their users, or between communicating services. When a server and client communicate, well-configured TLS ensures that no third party can eavesdrop or tamper with any message. How is my information shared? Squeegee will only disclose the personal information you have provided to us to other entities if it is necessary and appropriate to facilitate the purpose for which your personal information was collected in accordance with this policy, including the provision of the Service. Squeegee will not otherwise disclose and of your personal information to a third party unless you have provided your express consent. However, You should be aware that we may be required to disclose your personal information without your consent in order to comply with any court orders, subpoenas, or other legal process or investigation including by tax authorities, if such disclosure is required by law. Where possible and appropriate, we will notify you if we are required by law to disclose your personal information.

How can I access, manage or delete information about me?

It is your responsibility to ensure that the personal information you provide to us is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You may request access to the information we hold about you, or request that we update, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, by setting out your request in writing and sending it to us at privacy@squeeg.ee

Squeegee will process your request as soon as reasonably practicable within one month, provided we are not otherwise prevented from doing so on legal grounds. If we are unable to meet your request, we will let you know why. For example, it may be necessary for us to deny your request if it would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy or affairs of other individuals, or if it is not reasonable and practicable for us to process your request in the manner you have requested.

We’ll only keep your personal information for as long as we require it for the purposes of providing you with the service. However, we may also be required to keep some of your personal information for specified periods of time, for example under certain laws relating to corporations, money laundering, and financial reporting legislation.

You can opt-out of any non essential email communications Squeegee sends billing information, product information, service updates and service notifications to you via email. Our emails will contain clear and obvious instructions describing how you can choose to be removed from any mailing list not essential to the service. We will remove you from non-essential emails at your request.

You are responsible for transfer of Your data to third-party applications Squeegee may allow you, the subscriber, or another invited user within the relevant subscription to the service to transfer data, including your personal information, electronically to and from third-party applications. Squeegee has no control over, and takes no responsibility for, the privacy practices or content of these applications. You are responsible for checking the privacy policy of any such applications so that you can be informed of how they will handle personal information.
