🔐 Updated Security in Squeegee

Keeping your business and customer data safe is a top priority for us. That’s why we’ve rolled out improved security updates to make your Squeegee account even more secure.

🔒 Improved password protection

When signing up or updating your password, Squeegee will now check whether that password has appeared in any known public data breaches. If it has, you’ll be alerted straight away so you can choose a safer alternative before continuing.

You can also proactively check your own details using trusted tools like haveibeenpwned.com. Simply enter your email address or password to see if it’s ever been exposed in a data breach, then take action if needed.

Our top security tips:

🔐 Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend turning on 2FA. It adds an extra layer of protection by sending a one-time code to your mobile each time you log in—helping keep your account, business, and customer data safe.

🔑 Use strong, unique passwords

Avoid easy-to-guess passwords and never reuse the same password across multiple websites or apps. A unique password for Squeegee means better protection if another service is compromised.

👥 Regularly review user access

Remove users who no longer need access and update permissions as roles change. Keeping access up to date reduces risk and keeps your account tidy.

🆔 Create individual user accounts

Give each team member their own login instead of sharing passwords. This lets you control exactly what each user can see and do, improves accountability, and makes it easy to revoke access when someone leaves—no password changes needed. If you have any questions or need help enabling these security features, our team is here to help.
