Scheduling by Rounds: Keeping jobs organised

13th March 2025

The Rounds feature can completely change how you add new work and schedule jobs or it can simply serve as a helpful visual tool when used alongside the Visual Planner (available on the Ultimate Plan)

Setting up rounds gives you the ability to assign unique colours to each round making it easier than ever to spot jobs that are out of sync when viewing your schedule on a map or planner.

How to set round colours

  1. Go to the Rounds section.
  2. Select a Round.
  3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  4. Choose a Round colour and save.

Once you’ve set colours for all your rounds they will appear on your visual planner making it clear which rounds are scheduled on which days at a glance giving you a clear overview of your schedule. If you notice jobs that would be better placed in a different round, you can simply draw a selection around them and move them to a more logical round—ensuring your routes stay efficient. You might have noticed that individual appointments within a round can’t have their schedules updated—that’s because the frequency is set on the round as a whole.

So, while individual jobs can be moved if needed, they will always revert back to the round’s original schedule on the next cycle. This type of scheduling works brilliantly for businesses like wheelie bin cleaning services, where the schedule stays mostly consistent with only occasional adjustments—such as delays due to bin lorry disruptions or shifts for public holiday.
