How Squeegee handles your Income Tax

13th July 2026

What’s changing? From April 2026, self-employed individuals earning over £50,000 will need to submit a quarterly summary of income and expenses to HMRC.

It’s a quick check-in and not a full tax return so there’s no end-of-year panic trying to piece everything together. Tracking your income and expenditure will also bring a number of benefits, it's a great opportunity to:

  • Know your numbers all year round
  • Reduce errors and last-minute stress
  • Improve cashflow

How Squeegee helps We’ve created a new feature called Income Snapshots which allows you to keep track of your income and expenses and then submit your quarterly income tax.

Accountant/Bookkeeping access You can also invite your accountant or bookkeeper into Squeegee and give them access to only what they need. This means there’ll be no need for a separate accounting system.
