Starting up
"When it came to setting up I found YouTube incredibly helpful along with several Facebook groups where experienced window cleaners were more than happy to share their knowledge. There are also quite a few window cleaning forums online that offer valuable advice. I also visited Spotless Window Cleaning in Cwmbran who were fantastic. They gave me so much good advice and were really knowledgeable and willing to help."
Attracting new customers
"One of the first things I did was to set up my website, Google business profile and Facebook page which is where the majority of enquiries come in. I use Canva to create eye-catching, branded posts and share them in local community and village groups which has generated a steady stream of leads. Word-of-mouth referrals have played a huge role in the growth of my customer base, it has snowballed recently with customers referring two or three of their friends and neighbours. For me, these personal recommendations are the most valuable way to attract new customers.”
