**15.7 - credit notes, write offs and tips**

To create credit notes, debt write offs and tips, go to the payment dialog on the customer, select an amount and press ‘credit’ which opens up the options to provide a credit note or write off the debt. 

Similarly, you can create a tip from here or if you go to a particular payment or the customer view itself, you can record a refund to the customer. 



By the end of this module you'll be able to record credit notes, write off debts, record tips and refunds from the payment dialog on the customer. 

By the end of this module, you'll be able to mark invoices as paid from the appointment on the planner including the fastest option if payment is collected at the time of completing the job, the 'done and paid' option.
